My husband and I had to make a trip to the Medford area for work, so we decided to go to Redding for a quick getaway. I would stay here again, and just make other plans for food. We did get mixed up orders, a long time before food came out, and at 9pm the lights in the restaurant just went out so we were paying our check in almost absolute dark. The food was just sort of bland and seemed like warmed up packaged-food. My kids are meat & dairy eaters, and even they barely ate. My husband had a veggie burger, and didn't really like it. I ended up with nachos-just chips, tomatoes, green onions, and olives. There are really no vegan & gluten-free options there. The hotel is sort of off-set from other things.

We didn't have that great of an experience at the hotel restaurant, and sort of wished we had picked up food before heading there for the night. It was a really great overnight trip, and the beds felt amazing compared to other hotels we stayed in along our road trip. Our bathroom had a huge walk-in shower and a jacuzzi tub. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, and the room was so beautiful! Everything was super clean and very comfortable.
